The symposium implementation in order to pave the way of the Iran-China cooperation that will be actualize in China with the help and diligence of virtual cooperation desk of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences

In line with overlapping points in clinical and basic sciences studies in the field of Health and Neurosciences of Iran-China Academy of Sciences, universities and research centers of China in order to improve international university relations, and professors’ collaboration, researchers and students of health and neurosciences’ field, the first scientific collaboration of the two countries symposium was held. This symposium was organized by the National Mental Disorders Institute and Jian young Shi University of Shanghai, and on May 11, 2023 was held at the Mental Health Research Center.

In this meeting Dr. Haghparast, Professor of Neurosciences’ Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, and in charge of Virtual Collaboration Desk of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and China, the Chinese high-ranking officials in the field of neurosciences including Secretary of the Neurosciences Association of China, Scientific Secretary of Sixteenth National Neurosciences Congress in China, the Head of the Neurosciences Association of Shanghai, the Director of National Institute of Mental Disorders and a group of scientists and eminent university professors who are based in Shanghai and Pekan were present.

In this symposium, which lasted for 4 hours, the organizers made a suggestion that, apart from the mutual introduction of scientific centers and cooperation in the field of health and neurosciences, the continuation of discussions and summing up  the ways of developing these partnerships in the 16th National Congress of Neurosciences in China continue. We hope that with the assistance of supporting organizations such as Scientific Advisory Sector of the Ministry of Islamic Republic of Iran in China, Department of Research and Technology of the Presidency, Development and Evolution Partnership center, Cognitive Sciences and Technology Development Institute and two sides’ universities, transition and Scientific collaboration will be improved and a joint sustainable scientific bridge between Iran and China in Asian region will be built.
