Meeting of the Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs with Dr. Tanvir Shaheed from Macquarie University
On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Dr. Mehrdad Faizi, Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs, met with Dr. Tanvir Shaheed, Regional Director of South Asia and Middle East at Macquarie University of Australia, which is one of the most important universities in the field of health in Australia. Dr. Ajoudanian, the Assistant Professor of the Faculty of New Medical Technologies and Dr. Mafi, the International Advisor were also present at this meeting.
First, Dr. Faizi welcomed Dr. Shaheed to our university and presented the potentials of the section of international relations and demonstrated his will for the development of these relations with international universities in the near future.
Then Dr. Shaheed also wanted to launch joint projects in the fields of education and research. Both sides also began the first negotiations for the eventual signing of memorandum of understanding between Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Macquarie University.
