SBMU Ranks the 2nd in the Production of Knowledge
Professor Jafar Mehrad, the ISC Public Relations Office Director stated that: “SBMU has ranked the 2nd is producing knowledge in medical sciences.” While noting to the point that the universities have been selected based on the number of their indexed articles, named the 10 highest ranking universities as follows; TUMS, SBMU, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Tarbiat Moddarres University, Baghiat-allah University of Medical Sciences, and finally, Kerman University of Medical Sciences.
He also noted that “though some of the articles in medicine are published in valid and reliable journals of the Ministry of Science, Research, & Technology, the important point is that the production of knowledge shows the high scientific potential of those researchers.
