Shahid Beheshti University and Iranian Physicians in Hungary Advance Scientific Partnership

Budapest, Hungary - Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS) and Iranian physicians residing in Hungary have joined forces to strengthen scientific collaboration between Iran and Hungary.

 

During a meeting at the Iranian Embassy in Budapest, Dr. Alireza Zali, Chancellor of SBUMS, emphasized the importance of leveraging the expertise of Iranian physicians abroad. He highlighted the university's achievements in various medical fields and outlined a vision for closer collaboration with Iranian physicians in Hungary, including:

• Network Development: Creating a robust network to facilitate information exchange and experience sharing.

• Joint Training Programs: Organizing training programs in various medical fields, both short-term and long-term.

• Collaborative Research: Developing and implementing joint research projects in areas of mutual interest.

• Faculty and Student Exchange: Facilitating the exchange of students and faculty between SBUMS and Hungarian universities.

• Joint Research Center: Exploring the establishment of a joint research center in either country for conducting collaborative studies.

Iranian physicians residing in Hungary expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, sharing their experiences and emphasizing the value of strengthening ties with Iranian universities to enhance scientific and healthcare standards in Iran.

 

The meeting resulted in the formation of a joint committee, composed of representatives from SBUMS and Iranian physicians in Hungary. This committee will oversee the implementation of the agreed-upon initiatives and further develop scientific collaboration between the two countries. Regular meetings are planned to assess progress and ensure ongoing cooperation.

  

This partnership underscores the commitment of both SBUMS and Iranian physicians in Hungary to advancing healthcare knowledge and fostering international collaboration for the betterment of global health.
