Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences won the international award at the ASIC International Accreditation Conference
The Accreditation Services for International Colleges (ASIC) has held an international accreditation conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on September 20-21, 2017.
The first day of this conference began with the greetings and speech of the chairman of the organization. Then, the senior adviser and chief inspector of ASIC, and then each of the main members of the organization spoke about issues of new indicators of accreditation and quality assurance, internationalization, recruiting international students and working with agents and promoting higher education.
Subsequently, the representative of the vice-chancellor of international affairs at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences delivered his speech on the capabilities of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in various fields and also the performance of the university in earning the highest degree of accreditation from ASIC. At the end of the first day, the awards ceremony was held and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences was awarded in the development of the quality of higher education in the international arena.
The second day of the conference highlighted at the new level of accreditation, namely the platinum level, as well as the positive impact of the international accreditation of ASIC on the status of international rankings, including the famous systems, THE and QS. During the conference, the university representatives had a special place to introduce the university and promotion of internationalization of the university. This was a great opportunity for exchanging information and communicating with other international universities, especially East Asian educational centers.
It is worth noting that the ASIC International Institute has accredited more than 900 institutions in 50 countries over the past 10 years and for the first time Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, after its comprehensive evaluation in April 2017, received an internationally accredited certificate with a premier status.
