The Hunan Ministry of Health's Commission Board visited Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences medical and research centers
The Office of Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs hosted the Hunan Ministry of Health's Commission Board of China during their two-day visit of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. The delegation headed by Dr. Chen Zhuzhou, Director General of the Hunan Ministry of Health Commission Board, accompanied by Dr. Tao Yang, Director of Prevention and Control of Hunan Province, Dr. Huang Sheng, Deputy Director General of the Office of the Hunan Health Commission, Dr. Niyeuping, Deputy Cooperation Officer of Hunan Provincial Health Commission, Dr. Liu Chingxi, Hunan People's Hospital Deputy, and Dr. Gong Yoping, Secretary of the Hunan Brain Hospital. The aim of this visit is to promote scientific cooperation on general health, traditional medicine, emergency aid, and promoting public health to Iran. The delegation visited Masih Daneshvari Hospital and School of Traditional Medicine of Shahid Behehsti University of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, the delegation attended Masih Daneshvari Hospital. First, Dr. Jamaati, Deputy Director of the hospital, provided a brief report on admitting patients, specialized departments, hospital costs, number of patients, hospital budgets and the communication between the hospital in Iran. Moreover, the delegation visited the emergency department and hospital departments, and then with Dr. Janbabaee, the Deputy of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, and Dr. Amir-Khani, Adviser to the Acting Minister of International Affairs of Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
Also, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, the delegation met with the Faculty of Traditional Medicine hosted by Dr. Choopani, the dean and faculty members of the school. During the meeting, he introduced the various faculty departments, research projects, activities, traditional medicine clinics medicinal bank and library. The delegation of introduced the history of traditional medicine and the pioneering of traditional medicine in the treatment of diseases and free medical treatments in China.
