The Reconstructed Urology Ward at SBMU Shahid Labbafi Nejad Hospital Opened
By the presence of the SBMU Chancellor, Professor Peyvandi, and Professor Nourbakhsh, the Welfare Organization Director, the reconstructed Urology ward of Shahid Labbafi Najad hospital was opened.
In the inauguration ceremony Professor Peyvandi said: “As an ancient and large hospital, Shahid Labbafi Nejad Hospital is a good example of inter-sectoral collaboration between the SBMU and the Welfare Organization of Iran, and this can be followed in the country by others as well.”
Professor Simforoosh, the Director of the Urology Ward at the hospital noted that there are some 400 hospital beds rendering their services actively to the patients, and added: “… at the hospital all pediatric & adult kidney transplantations are performed, even for those with multiple treatment problems.”
