The most equipped recording and playback system of eye surgery set up in Shahid Labbafi Nezhad Hospital
Public relations of Shahid Beheshti Medical University: the most equipped simultaneously recording and playback system of eye surgery has been set up for the first time in the eye operation room of Sahid Labbafi Nezhad Hospital. This project has been accomplished via a close collaboration between the SBMU Eye Center of Excellence and ophthalmology ward of Labbafi Nezhad Hospital.
This system is able to simultaneously record and playback the eye surgery with high resolution and quality and also archive the recorded files. One of the major applications of this system is to help with the education and training of ophthalmology residents since they can observe the whole process of the surgery simultaneously while their attending professors are in the operation room.
Moreover, this system has made it possible to rewind and playback the recording for educational purposes concerning residents and fellowships of ophthalmology.
