WHO Representative in Iran Visits the SBMU Ward & Toxicological Research Center (TRC)

Dr Jihan Tawilah, the WHO representative in Iran visited different sections and Toxicological Research Center (TRC) in SBMU Loghman Hakim Educational Hospitalon July, 22nd, 2013.
The visit was done following the request by the Department & SBMU TRC for further expanding mutual collaborations. In the visit, Professors Ardam (from the WHO), Pajoumand, Shadnia, Hassanian, and Talaie (all from SBMU Loghman Hakim Educational Hospital), and Professor Ghareh Baghian, from the SBMU Office in International Affairs were present.
During the visit, different parts were visited, including the Drug Informatics Section & Toxins, the ICU, the Emergency Ward, and the educational classes.
Dr Tawilah expressed her gratitude and happiness, and praised the SBMU TRC and the Department’s academic staff members for their useful activities. She also reiterated on the establishment of a fully-equipped and specialized lab.
In a meeting which was held, Professor Pajoumand, the Chairman of the Department and the SBMU TRC Director expressed his willingness for mutual collaborations with the WHO and holding short-term and long-term educational program periods in its collaboration with the WHO.
