WORLD GLAUCOMA DAY
Bearing in mind the importance of glaucoma, March, 13 has been named as World Glaucoma Day by the World Health Organization since 2008. This day was commemorated this year at SBMU with the attendance of numerous ophthalmologists, charity supporters, and patients.
At the ceremony, Professor Javadi, the SBMU Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology and the director of SBMU Ophthalmology Research Center (ORC) detailed the audience about the diseases onset and prognosis emphasizing on the diseases since 25 years ago.
Also, some 400 patients participated free of charge in the screening visits at SBMU Labbafi Nezhad Hospital
