The Board of Directors:
The Board of Directors of the university consisting of :
- The chancellor
- Vice-chancellors
- Chancellor’s advisors
- Those university managers who work directly with chancellor.
The duties of the Board of Directors:
1. Preparing practical grounds for the approvals of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the agendas issued by the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education,
2. Offering to the Board of Trustees of the university through the chancellor the administrative chart and reforms necessary for managing the internal affairs of the university,
3. Reviewing and evaluating the ways for the initiation of the decisions of the Board of Directors of the university and supervising the practice of various university sections
4. Preparing grounds for privatizing the university and promoting university’s and its affiliated sections’ self-sufficiency,
5. Developing necessary coordination among different vice-chancellors’ offices,
6. Reviewing the university’s financial and trade regulations for presentation at the meetings of the Board of Trustees of the university, as well as preparing the plans which have to be decided upon by that Board,
7. Offering to the Board of Trustees of the university through the chancellor the annual budget of the university,
8. Offering to the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education through the chancellor the procedures for distribution and allocation of the sabbatical leaves and short-term national and international training and research courses and periods for teaching and research academic staff
