The Board of Trustees:
This board is the highest ranking body at the university.
The Mission of the Board of Trustees:
- Approving the internal agenda,
- Approving the administration of the university based on the rules set forth by the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education in coordination with the National Office of Administration and Recruitment which shall have to be approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
- Reviewing and approving the budget of the university offered by the university chancellor,
- Approving the annual balance of the university,
- Approving the methods for obtaining specific revenues and the ways for spending such revenues,
- Trying to obtain the charities of the private sector and local revenues including cash, technological, building charities based on the regulations approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
- Approving the financial and trade agenda which shall be enforceable after obtaining approval from the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education,
- Offering the amounts of the bonus-in-cash for the academic staff and non- academic personnel (experts and technicians) which shall enforceable following obtaining approval of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education
- Determining the ways for managing production, and health and treatment units of the university based on the regulations approved by the Cabinet of the Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
- Determining the amounts of payments for part-time teachings, researches, translations, and authorships,
- Reviewing the university report presented by the university chancellor,
- Approving the recruitment rules of the academic staff of the university in coordination with the protocols set forth by the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education,
- Appointing the treasurer and audit for the university
The Members of the Board of the Trustees:
- The Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education,
- The university chancellor,
- 4-6 local academic, culturally and socially active citizens (2 of these have to be academic staff of the university)
The Ways for Electing the Members Outlined in Part C:
- Each of the members of the Board of Trustees of the university is offered by the Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education and they are officially appointed for 4 years in their positions by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran as head of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution .
- The Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education is the Head in the Board of the Trustees of the university.
- The university chancellor is the Secretary of the Board of the Trustees of the university.
