On the morning of Tuesday, May 13th, Professor Arkadiusz Jawień, Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery and Angiography at Nicolaus Copernicus University, paid an unexpected visit to the Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs. The meeting took place on the sidelines of an appreciation ceremony honoring a visiting professor from the School of Medical Education and Learning Technologies at the university’s international campus.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the continuation and expansion of bilateral scientific collaboration between the two institutions. To enhance Professor Jawień’s familiarity with centers relevant to his field, a brief tour of the Angiography Center at Modarres Hospital was arranged. He was accompanied by Dr. Alipour, the hospital’s director, and Dr. Eslami. Additionally, a visit to the Vascular Surgery Ward at Shohadaye Tajrish Hospital was scheduled for later during his stay.
