This center was established as Inpatient Rehabilitation Center No. 2 (convalescent Home) in 1978, and in 1979, with the victory of Islamic Republic, it was handed over to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and renamed to Ayatollah Taleghani Medical Training Center.
